What's your hair care attachment style?!

Posted by Kate Assaraf on

Don’t get me wrong, I love my hair. But when I know wash day is coming up, I mentally prepare myself.

My hair texture requires a gentle hand and time to pre-poo, wash, condition (I leave it in for at least 30 minutes. . . I use this as a snack break), rinse, and style with my various curly creams and potions. I need to have a patient hand when detangling and a line-up of podcasts for the entire process.

Type 4 Coily Hair

Each level of type 4 hair is unique in its patterns of curls and coils. We have found that Type 4 hair is very much left out of the sustainability conversation, and we were not cool with that.  The dip conditioner bar will save you a ton in your luxe conditioner habit on type 4 hair because it can be deliberately and methodically applied on wash day.  That means you are completely in control of how it soaks into those beautiful coiled curls of yours!

Dip is the best conditioner bar for perfect curls because it also doubles as a very moisturizing leave in conditioner.  Curlies, we absolutely kept you in mind during development, so don't you fret! For some (not all) of our customers, they were even able to ditch their plastic bottled curl cream completely!

What is the best conditioner bar for straight hair?  We think Dip. Type 1 hair has its perks, typically soft shiny and manageable it’s a hair type easy to exist with minimal effort however many with type 1 hair complain about its stubbornness in styling and how fast it appears greasy. When applying the Dip conditioner bar, avoiding the roots is key.
