Mostly a love
"I have used shampoo and conditioner bars before but they dried out my hair and were difficult to lather. I had low expectations of these but I was very pleasantly surprised at how well they work. The shampoo lathers better than any other natural shampoo I’ve used. The conditioner actually conditions! It’s been a long time since I’ve used a natural conditioner that actually detangles hair and leaves it softer. My daughter has long hair that tangles very easily. Even “detangling” hair products don’t help. I used this on her to see if it would work as well for her as it did for me and I was shocked! It conditioned her hair so well that there weren’t any tangles to brush out after. The scent is pleasant but subtle which is important for me because I have migraines that are easily triggered by smells. My only complaint is that my scalp has been a lot drier since switching to these. I already have a dry scalp but these seem to make it worse. I have a bit of flakiness that has been amplified. I have even tried putting the conditioner on my scalp and massaging it in for moisture. This helped a little bit. Overall, it isn’t a big deal because I have light hair and the flakes aren’t large enough to be obvious unless I am wearing a dark colored shirt. If you have dark hair and already struggle with flakiness, it might be worth taking into account. In spite of this, I still love the product and will definitely repurchase in the future. I’m so glad I stumbled upon this company!"

Love the smell and lather
"This is my 3rd shampoo bar brand I have tried. (I haven’t had a chance to use the conditioner bar yet. ) I love how easy the shampoo bar lathers. My hair smells clean and fresh but it doesn’t seem to minimize any frizz. I still have to put my curly hair products in right out of the shower."

"I gave it four stars because the scent is hard for me to handle and I won’t be able to use it any longer. It did get my hair clean without stripping the oils and I was impressed. Not sure I want to do fragrance free as my hair will smell sweaty. Open to trying it."

Glad for the travel size
"I've tried a few bar shampoos, to see what each brings to the table and how they work with my hair. My biggest complaint with this bar is the smell. It smells nothing like tangerine or honeydew; it smells like sunscreen and not in a good way. The shampoo lathers and rinses well. The conditioner applies and rinses well. After drying my hair, it is dull and muted. I've tried air drying and blow drying with seeing no difference. Also, my scalp was left with visible build-up. Glad I tried this brand. Will not be using again."

"Shampoo is not for curly hair - I usually use a non foaming shampoo and this made my hair too frizzy. Happy I tried it though. Conditioner is the best I’ve ever used. Ever."
