Type 2 Wavy Hair

Type 2 Wavy Hair

Type 2 hair comes with the benefit of not to oily and not to dry. The perfect mix for healthy hair. The S shape is determined by how many bonds are formed in between the keratin proteins that make up your strands of hair. We have tested our dip conditioner bar on all hair types and we are still convinced that it is the best conditioner bar on the market.

Type 1 Straight Hair

Type 1 Straight Hair

What is the best conditioner bar for straight hair?  We think Dip. Type 1 hair has its perks, typically soft shiny and manageable it’s a hair type easy to exist with minimal effort however many with type 1 hair complain about its stubbornness in styling and how fast it appears greasy. When applying the Dip conditioner bar, avoiding the roots is key.

Our Company Culture Written from An Employee's Perspective

Our Company Culture Written from An Employee's Perspective

There’s become an emptiness to "women's empowerment": the tote bag, pins and hashtags aren’t enough. Women supporting women has to be action, has to be networking, referrals, and celebration of successes without feeling like you now “owe” who’s helped you.

Why Dip has no pink tax for shampoo bars and conditioner bars

No Pink Tax

Most data will support that the pink tax costs a woman an average of 1,351 USD per year in comparison to if a man bought the same quantity. We're not cool with this discrepancy so we refuse to let it creep into our costs. We have shampoo and conditioner bars for any gender. We decided to give an array of scents, some typically more masculine and some more feminine, so people can still choose what scent brings them the most joy at shower time, however our feminine scents do NOT come with higher price.

USA Made

USA Made

Overseas manufacturers don’t always possess as high of standards in terms of working conditions and workers rights, or putting in environmental protections. We decided, as should others, that this cost was not worth a cheaper price tag. So our bars are made in America. With the reduction in transportation and addition of EPA regulations on companies in the States, producing them here caused a major reduction in our carbon footprint.

Heat Protector

Heat Protector

After all we did formulate the best conditioner bar for your tresses to be ready to go whenever. But we also understand that sometimes nothing beats a big blow out (or as some of us at Dip love, giant curls) and we usually have to achieve those looks with heat styling. Good thing we added in the ingredients needed to protect your hair on your heat heavy days. In fact we added in a ton of ingredients to nourish your strands and keep them healthy — check them out!

Unsqueezable

Unsqueezable

The plight of being a hair snob with young kids.  Children don’t know the difference between your high end conditioner and a bottle of bubble bath and nothing hurts worse than having your precious bottles stuff squeezed out into a tub.

TSA Friendly

TSA Friendly

Pouring from big bottle of shampoo and conditioner into little (under 3oz) bottle of shampoo and conditioner is not only extra eco-un-friendly but also comes with risks and no rewards.   We’ve had crushed bags and burst bottles of conditioner all over our clothes and running out of product just a couple days after we get to our destination being left with drying hotel hair “care” (if you can even call it caring).  With those problems in mind, our best conditioner bar became our best travel hack.

Surf Essential

Surf Essential

An essential for any surf session. I was lucky to have tried Dip before it was available on the market (the perks of being on the inside!) Before paddling out I would dive in the water soaking my hair and soaking the best conditioner bar I have used and coat every strand on my head. It would last me every wave and every wipeout protecting my hair from the salt of the water, the sun beating down, and not a tangle in sight.

How Stressing Out the Environment is in Turn Stressing Out Your Hair

Your hair is also science. Your hair has building blocks and compounds and physical traits to it that differ and react to external factors. These can be physical factors such as "too-tight hair ties", chemical factors like dying, bleaching, and perming, or environmental factors like sun exposure and air pollution.
